PRINCE MEMORIAL RITES TOMORROW U. S. and French Military Officials to Join in Dedication. Lieut. Norman Prince, founder of the Lafayette Escadrille. will be com memorated at 11 a.m. tomorrow when military officials of France and the United States join with the Right Rev. James E. Freeman. Bishop of Wash ington, in services dedicating his tomb and monument in St. John’s Chapel of the Washington Cathedral. Gen. John J. Pershing, representing America, and Maj. Gen. Adelbert de Chambrun, representing France, each will say a few words and, with Bishop Freeman, will lay a wreath on the tomb. . Visitors to See Figure. For the first time, visitors to the Cathedral will be able to see the figure surmounting the tomb which repre sents a young aviator advancing to make the supreme sacrifice for his Ideals. Both the monument and the sarcophagus were designed by Paul Landowski, Polish sculptor with stu dios in Paris and Rome. A limited number of seats have been reserved for the family and close friends of the World War hero, but the general public can be accommo dated in the great choir which adjoins the chapel in which the service will be held. Bishop Freeman will conduct the service, assisted by the dean of the Cathedral, the Very Rev. Noble C. Powell, and other members of hte clergy staff. The Cathedral choir of men and boys will sing. Veterans to Attend. Among those planning to attend are members of the Norman Prince Post, American Legion, and the Norman Prince Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. In addition to representatives of the Boston family and members of the Massachusetts congressional delega tion. other guests at the service will include Frederick W. Mansfield, Mayor of Boston: Col. Chalmers G Hall and three other officers repre senting the Army Air Corps; Edward A. Harriman, president of the Harvard Club of Washington, and Miss Mabel T. Boardman, national secretary of the American Red Cross. FOREIGN MINISTER OF DOMINICANS DIES Ernesto Bonetti Burgos Left Johns Hopkins Hospital Month Ago. Ernesto Bonetti Burgos, 43, secre tary of state for foreign affairs for the Dominican Republic since 1936, died Friday in Trujillo City, Dominican Republic, according to word received here yesterday at the Dominican Le gation. Mr. Burgos for several months had been under treatment at Johns Hop kins University Hospital in Baltimore, leaving there about a month ago. While his uncle, J. B. Vicini Burgos, was president of the Dominican Re public, Mr. Burgos served as his pri vate secretary. From 1924 to 1930, he was Speaker of the House of the Do minican Republic, and in 1935 he was his country’s Minister to Germany. LACKEY TAKES POST Takes Command of European Squadron, Relieving: Fairfield. Rear Admiral Henry E. Lackey yes terday relieved Rear Admiral Arthur P. Fairfield at Villa Franche. France, as commander of the European Squad ron. the Navy Department an nounced. The squadron, composed of the cruiser Raleigh and the destroyers Claxton and Manley, was sent to Europe last year to assist evacuation of refugees from Spain. Admiral Lackey was director of shore establishments until November 16. Admiral Fairfield will go on duty at the Navy Department. NAMED HOTEL MANAGER Scott Stilson, for many years active in the hotel business here, has been named manager of the Hotel Graf ton, 1139 Connecticut avenue N.W., it was announced yesterday by George C. DECATUR HOUSE PLEA TO GO ON AIR Broadcast Wednesday to Seek Backing for Drive to Preserve Building. A radio broadcast seeking to arouse public sentiment will be the first step in a campaign by the Professional Writers’ Club of the Y. W. C. A. to preserve the historic Decatur House. The broadcast will take place Wed nesday at 6:30 p.m. over Station WJSV and will be opened with an address by Admiral Hugh Rodman, U. S. N., on "Stephen Decatur—A Great Naval Hero.” He will be followed by Dr. Leicester B. Holland, director of the Pine Arts Division, Library of Congress, who will talk on “The Architectural Signifi cance of Decatur House." Mrs. William Lee Corbin, president of the Washington Y. W. C. A., will speak on “Decatur House—An Inspira tion to Youth," and Mme. Julia Can tacuzene, president of the League of Republican Women, will discuss “The Spirit of Decatur House.”' Mrs. Leo Roberts Pennington, Jr., his torian of the District Daughters of the American Revolution, will have for her topic "Decatur House—A Na tional Shrine.” Miss Myrta Ethel Cawood, presi dent of the Professional Writers’ Club, will be mistress of ceremonies during the program. The Decatur House, located at Jack son place and H street N.W., was erected by Stephen Decatur 118 years ago. The writers’ club decided to launch a campaign to save the historic mansion when it was announced it must be sold to settle the estate of the late Truxton Beale. -- Cast Pirst Ballots. Thousands of youths just past 18, the voting age in Russia, cast their first ballots at the recent election. WORKERS CELEBRATE * CHEST DRIVE VICTORY Member* of Loan Division of Pub lic Debt Service Hold “Victory Luncheon.” Members of the Loans and Currency Division of the Public Debt Bervice held a “victory luncheon” at Naylor’s yesterday to celebrate reaching 101.47 per cent of their quota in the Commu nity Chest campaign. There were 31 key men and women in this division of the Government unit, with John T. Skinner as di vision chairman and Miss Edith Olson as vice chairman. The plan for the luncheon was de veloped early in the campaign, division leaders agreeing to hold the celebra tion if the group "went over the top.” Members of the George Washington Glee Club sang at the luncheon.
