' I saw it (the baby) born,” she tes tified. "There was no attending phy sician. Mommie Sheaffer (Rachel) delivered the baby. Maggie Sheaffer Simmons, who is one year younger than I am, also was present." Mrs. Sheaffer said she raised the child. She added that Henrietta often visited their home and that Isaac called her “Aunt Hettie.” Submitted Claim in 1937. Mr. Sheaffer submitted his claim to the estate November 3, 1937, but it was not until last week, when his at torney asked Davison to take disposi tions, that it was disclosed. Mrs. Garrett inherited the fortune from her husband at his death in 1895. The will her administrators filed for probate after her death in 1930 distributed only $62,500 of the vast estate. A Pennsylvania Supreme Court rul ing eliminated all heirs of Walter Gar rett. the husband, but claimants of relationship to Mrs. Garrett continued to pour in from all parts of the world. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking the fortune through escheat. Court-appointed examiners have been hearing claims since January, 1937.
