Library Sub-branches To Be Closed 3 Weeks The Public Library sub-branches at Chevy Chase, Woodridge, Conduit toad, Tenley and Eastern High Sehool will be closed from August 12 through September 2, Dr. George P. Bowerman, librarian announced yesterday. Dr. Bowerman also said the sum mer hours at the central library, Eighth and K streets N.W., and the major branches now are in effect. Under the hours the central library closes at 4 pm. on Saturdays and all day Sundays, while the branches close at 1 pm. on Saturdays and all day Sundays. Officers Return Today From Fort Belvoir After two weeks of active duty at the C. M. T. C. camp at Fort Belvoir, Va., where they were in charge of training cavalry, nine Washington members of the 306th Regiment were to return today to their homes. Commanded by ^it. Col. Edward B.
