Y., March 27.—The two naval officer sons of John Pier pont Morgan will share the bulk of the late financier's fortune. Under the terms of Mr. Morgan's will filed for probate here yesterday, i Comdr. Junius Spencer Morgan and | Lt. Comdr. Henry Sturgis Morgan | will share equally in the residuary ! estate. No estimate of the estate's size was made. Mr. Morgan, who died at 75 on March 13 in Boca Grande, Fla., provided for his children, nephews and nieces and also for numerous employes. $25,000 to Each Child. The financier bequeathed $25,000 to each of his children, the two sons and his two daughters, Mrs. Jane Norton Nichols and Mrs. Prances Tracy Pennoyer. The will explained the small bequests to the daughters by saying Mr. Morgan had made provisions for them before his death. The sum of $25,000 also was left to his two sons-in-law and daugh ters-in-law. He gave $500 to each of his nieces and nephews. No provision was made for his three sisters. The will explained that they had been adequately taken care of by their father. He left $150,000 to the Church of 6t. John of Lattingtown, Locust Valley, N. Y., where he was a parish ioner. He said he was leaving noth ing to charity and other organiza tions because he had given to them as best he could during his life. The Wall Hall estate in Hertford County, England, was left to his •on Henry and the Morgan home at Glen Cove, N. Y., was turned over Jointly to the two sons. The New York City home and Camp Uncas, Hamilton County, N. Y., were left In the residuary estate. Mr. Morgan urged that dual own ership of the properties be avoided, suggesting that one son or the other take over complete ownership. To Comdr. Junius Morgan he left the Prank Holl painting of the first J. P. Morgan, to the governor and director of the Bank of England he gave a silver tankard, said to have been given by Queen Mary II to Capt. Simon Janszen for saving the life of King William III at sea in 1692. Employes Are Named. The will, a 27-page, 6.000-word j document dated December 27, 1942, | named the two sons and the firm of J. P. Morgan, Inc., as executors. Time Factor Aids Foe, Dr. Wei Warns Chinese Diplomat Urges United Attack on Japs Bv the Associated Press. < BRIDGEPORT, Conn., March 27.—It is extremely dangerous to' think that the United Nations are fighting two wars, one in the west! and the other in the east. Dr. Wei Tao-ming, the Chinese Ambassador, declared last night at a dinner at the Brooklawn Club. "The theaters of war are closely inter-related. In the past the people of Asia understood quite well that the danger in Europe would affect very much the situa- I tion in Asia. Today the situation in Asia, if not quickly improved, also will have a direct consequence on the situation in Europe. "We must keep in mind that this Is a total, global war, that it is in- ! divisible and so is the peace." Dr. Wei was the principal speaker at. a dinner honoring the War Pro- ; duction Committees of the Gen eral Electric Co.'s Bridgeport plant, which, at a ceremony at the plant, received the Army-Navy “E." In China, Dr. Wei declared, "five million seasoned fighters are ready for the signal to attack when they have the necessary weapons." Pay ing tribute to American production, he stressed that Japan "needs time,” and urged concerted attack soon on "the enemy's soft belly, which are the islands of Japan.” Another speaker at the dinner was Gerard Swope, president of the General Electric Co., who discussed the difficulty of changing over the Bridgeport plant's production 10 war work.
