Interesting Bridal Processions Forecast by Announcements Announcements of engagements come to the forefront in today's news of interest in social circles here as well as in communities in other parts of the country. Although Capt. and Mrs. George A. Goodyear make their home in Charlottesville, their announcement of the engagement of Mrs. Good years daughter, Miss Rebecca Lou Smith, to Ensign John Carlton Wheless, U. S. N. R„ is of interest here for two reasons. The bride-elect is a granddaughter of the late Col. Francis Wiley Glover and Mrs. Glover, who lived here during his assignment to Washington, and Ensign Wheless is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Carl Wheless of this city. Ensign Wheless is a graduate of Meson Academy in Lexington, Ga., and attended George Washington University. He is based at present at the Naval Air Station in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The engagement of Miss Dorothy Jean Decker to Mr. Robert Tirrell Ferrenz is announced by her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lollis G. Decker, the wedding to take place this autumn. Miss Decker attended the Uni versity of Maryland and Mr. Fer renz, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tirrell J. Ferrenz, attended the Carnegie Institute of Technology. Another announcement of interest is that of Dr. and Mrs. Anthony J. Seullen of the engagement of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Mary Seullen, to Pvt. William Alfred Draper, son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Draper. No wedding date nas been selected. Mr. and Mrs. John M Jackson of Silver Spring announce the engage- ; ment of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Jackson, to Corpl. Errett I Straley, jr., who recently returned from two years of duty in Alaska and the Aleutian Islands and w’hose i parents make their home in Winston-Salem. No date has been set for the wedding. Announcement is made of the en gagement of Miss Mona lee Ellis, daughter of Mrs. Oscar Lee Ellis of Fort Worth and the late Mr. Ellis, to Dr. Albert S. Winer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sol Winer of Bal timore. Miss Ellis, who lives in this city, Is a graduate of Texas State College for Women, and Dr. Winer is a grad uate of the University of Penn sylvania and of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Wedding of Interest Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holt Riddle berger of Strasburg, Va., announce the marriage of their daughter, Nancy Riddleberger Hutchinson, to Dr. Henry Bunch, jr„ of Columbia, S. C. yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock in the Luther Place Memo rial Church. The Rev. Dr. L. Ralph Tabor officiated in the presence of relatives and friends. Miss Dorothy Riddleberger was her sister's attendant, and Dr. George Duncan of Norfolk served as best man. Since completing the Johns Hop kins School of Nursing. Mrs. Bunch has remained with that hospital in a nursing capacity. She previously attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg. Dr. Bunch is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Bunch of Columbia.
