Kept, here by the pressure of their work during the war years, ranking British representatives now are due for transfer. Harold B. Butler, minister in charge of empire public regulations since June, 1942. left Washington la>t Friday for New York and is scheduled to sail for England Satur day. He headed what was per haps the most intensive educational campaign ever to have been con ducted by one nation on the soil of another. With Mr. Butler goes his right hand man. George Grant McKenzie, first secretary at the Embassy. Already on his way to another as signment is Michael Wright, a coun selor of Embassy, who flew to Eng land Saturday on his way to Singa pore. There he will take over a job as political adviser to Lord Kil lern, the newly designated British special commissioner for Southeast Asia. Washington was Mr. Wright’s first diplomatic past. He came here in 1926 as third secretary, remaining five years at that time. He re turned in 1943. William O. Hart, youthful chief of the British Shipping Mission here, left for New York yesterday. He is scheduled for immediate return by boat to England, where he intends to resume his former occupation as professor of law at Oxford. Mr. Hart had been in Washington Student Group to Report The Student Council of Dumbar ton College will present its quarterly report to the student body at 9:10 a m. tomorrow at the college.
