State Societies’ Spring Parties On Social Log North Carolina's Governor and Mrs. R. Gregg Cherry will be hon ored by the North Carolina So ciety of Washington at an Easter party to be held Saturday evening in the large ballroom of the Shore ham Hotel. The affair will be the high light of the season, for which eight gala parties are scheduled. ‘ There will be dancing from 10 to 1. A brief reception will be held at 9:30 p.m„ at which Mr. John K Slear, president of the society, and Mrs. Slear will receive with Oov. and Mrs. Cherry.
