has "cooled off" these F Street Gallery rooms... on our Sixth Floor
Color clarity is half the magic .. . serene, cool grays, blues and greens . . . dashes of sunshine yellow and
aqua . . . liberal use of frost white . . . applied in terms of paint and rugs and fresh slTp covers. Most
of the furniture remains the same as when the "house" first welcomed visitors, in February. But the Studio
believes in the stripped-down look for summer . . . the use of only those accessories and furnishings that
create a "green glade" sense of haven from the heat.
Let the "house" be inspiration for your own journey into summer ... a journey given impetus by our Sixth
Floor's summer-minded Salterini, California redwood and Ficks Reed Pinecraft furniture... our many-textured
eotton rugs ... the Studio's or our Seventh Floor's slip cover fabrics ... by the lighthearted linens, glassware,
pottery and flowering trays, found on our Fifth Floor.
