Thursday in the Interior De partment Auditorium under the sponsorship of the Washington chapter, American Veterans’ Com mittee. Speakers will include Assistant Secretary of State William Benton. Oskar Lange, the Polish Ambassa dor; William L. Shirer, radio com mentator, and James P. Warburg, author of "Unwritten Treaty” and former deputy director of OWI's overseas branch. Col. Robert S. Allen, former Washington news paper columnist, will be chairman. The forum will be conducted as a town meeting, with the opening re marks of each speaker to be followed by a round-table discussion and questions from the audience. A VC's Washington chapter has gone on record in support of the State Department’s international information and cultural affairs program as well as United States participation in the United Na tions Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. VMI Alumni Schedule Meeting Wednesday Attorney General Clark will be guest of honor at an informal smoker to be held by the Virginia Military Institute Alumni at 8:30 pm. Wednesday at the Army and Navy Club. Guest list for the smoker, held to commemorate New Market Day, also includes Representative Robert son, Democrat, of Virginia.
