Cunningham of Fort Myer, Va., wartime commander of the 112th cavalry Regiment, which fought on Leyte and Luzon. has been ap pointed senior Instructor of or ganized reserves for the Military District of Washington. Cunningham urged all reservists and former reservists to visit head quarters at 2145 C street N.W.. where information on status and plans of the reserve organization is available. Col. Cunningham's wartime com mand, known as the "Little Giant of the Pacific,” was credited with accumulating more combat fighting days that any other Army unit.
