Ava., North 4884 Church Ceremony For Miss MacKie And Mr. Mason The marriage of Miss Elizabeth Morton MacKie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thruston MacKie of Baltimore, to Mr. Dandridge Ken nedy Mason, son of Dr. and Mrs William Beverley Mason of Washing-1 ton. took place yesterday afternoon.1 The ceremony was performed in the Church of the Redeemer in Balti more, the Rev. Richard H. Baker officiating, assisted by the Rev. Nel son W. MacKie of Apponaug, R. I.,' cousin of the bride. Mr. MacKie escorted his daughter and gave her in marriage and she wore ivory satin, rose point and duchess lace trimming her tulle veil and she carried white roses and bouvardia. Miss Lloyd Beckwith MacKie was maid of honor for her sister and the bride's other attendants were her first cousin, Miss Leacy Mac Donald Tucker of Charles Town, W. Va.; Mrs. Robert HH1 of Lyttle ton, N. H.; Miss Clare Murray Eager and Miss Prances Kenny Goodwin of Baltimore. They all wore frocks of faille w’ith matching ostrich feathers in their hair and carried yellow chrysanthemums. The dresses were in shades of vellow! and aqua. Dr. Mason was best man for his son and the ushers were Mr. Wil liam Beverley Mason, jr.. of Wash ington and Mr. John Stevens Mason of Philadelphia, brothers of the bridegroom: Mr. Paul Thruston MacKie. jr.. of Baltimore, brother of the bride, and Mr. James W. Wood ruff. jr., of Columbus. Ga. The reception, for a small number of guests, was held in the Elkridge Kennels Club in Baltimore. Mr. and Mrs. Mason will make their home in Santa Monica. Calif., after their wedding trip. Mrs. Mason attended Bryn Mawr School and was grad uated from Greenwood School in Ruxton. Md. She is a member of the Junior League of Ba4timore and made her debut at the Bachelor’s Cotillion in Baltimore and at the First Monday German in Richmond Mr. Mason was graduated from the Episcopal High School in Alexandria and attended George Washington University and is a member of the Chevy Chase Club. Cole was graduated from the United States Military Academy in the class of 1931 and served in the cavalry. He was a military aide at the White House for four years during the late Franklin Delano Roosevelt's administration and also served at Fort Myer. J., was the scene of the wedding of Miss Helen Elaine Lake and Mr. John William Hino yesterday morning. The cere mony took place at 10 o'clock, the Rev. Ignatius Kohl officiating at the double ring ceremony, and the wedding breakfast for only members of the two families was served in the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Anna Lake, in Linden. Mr. Jacob Oley. uncle of the bride, escorted her and Mrs. Oley was her oply attendant. The bride's costume was a beige gabardine suit, white blouse and gloves, with other accessories of brown and her shoul der bouquet was of white orchids. Mrs. Oley also w'ore a beige suit, with a pink blouse and gloves and other accessories of brown and her shoulder spray was of pink roses. Later in the day Mr. Hino. who is a son of Mrs. Juliet Orame Hino of Washington, and his bride left on a Southern wedding trip. When the couple left for a honeymoon in Bermuda, the bride was wearing a navy blue gabardine suit with navy blue ac cessories and a gardenia corsage. They will make their home in New j York. Mrs. Fackner attended school in Switzerland and was graduated from Oldfields School in Glencoe. Md. She was with the Office of Strategic Services lor three years in Wash ington and Calcutta. Her mother was the former Miss Anne Gould Hunter of Savannah, and she is the granddaughter of Mrs. Tracy G. Hunter and the late Mr. Hunter of Savannah, and of Rear Admiral and Mrs. Charles Stillman Sperry. Mr. Fackner served five years with the Army of the United States with the rank of captaih. serving in Europe. He is a son of the late Leonard E. Fackner of Greenwich and is a grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. William Hall Brace Pratt and the late Col and Mrs. Edward Fackner, all of Brooklyn. The bridegroom attended Choate School and the University of North Caro lina. and is a member of Veterans of the 7th Regiment of the New York National Guard MRS. ALLEN. Church Wedding For /Urn Brou n And Mr. Allen St. Paul's Episcopal Church was the scene last evening of the wed ding of Miss Virginia Lee Brown and Mr. Edward Martin Allen, jr. The rector, the Rev. Robert John ston Plumb, officiated at 8 o'clock and Mr. Paul Gottwalls and Mr. Raymond Rapp provided the wed ding music. The bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Brown and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen of Arlington Guests at the ceremony were escorted to their pews by the ushers. Mr. Le Roy J. Wilson, Mr. Howard Choate. Mr. Charles B. Collier and Mr. Lemuel B. Owens. The ushers later led the bridal procession to the chancel steps. Mr. Allen and his best ma#i. Mr. Benjamin L. Fletcher, jr., awaited the bride, who was escorted and given in marriage by her father. She was preceded by her sister. Miss Mary Anne Brown, who was her maid of honor, and immediately following the ushers were the bridesmaids, the Misses Betty Fitz hugh, cousin of the bride: Eloise Busschaert, Ann Lockhart and Netti Lounl. The bride was dressed in white satin, her fingertip veil of illusion and lace was held by a coronet of seed pearls and her shower bouquet was of white roses and stephanotis with a white orchid in the center. Her maid of honor was in aqua taffeta and net and carried Talis man roses and baby's breath which also formed her headdress. The bridesmaids had similar frocks in pink and blue, their bouquets of pink roses and blue delphinium matching their headdresses. Mr. and Mrs. Allen are making a motor trip to Canada and when they return they will live in Arling ton. The reception, following the ceremony, was held in the Kennedy - Warren. Mrs. Allen attended Duke University and Mr. Allen recently was discharged from the Army in which he served as a lieutenant in the Air Forces.
