Collins, 68, for the last two years a staff physician at the Episcopal Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, who died Wednesday at the home of bis daughter, Mrs. Martha C. Vesey, 4915 Glenbrook road N.W., were to be held this afternoon in Warren, Ohio. Dr. Collins had practiced in Warren since 1920, but he retired about two years ago and came to Washington to live. He continued to practice at Episcopal Hospital until his death. A native of St. Lquis, Mo., he was a graduate of Washington University there, and interned at the St. Louis City Hospital. After 10 years of general practice in St. Jacobs, III., he took post-graduate work at Belle vue Hospital, New York/and at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary before going to Warren. He was a member of the medical associations of the District, Missouri, Illinois and Ohio. He also belonged to the American Medical Associa tion, the American College of Surgeons and the Warren First Presbyterian Church, of which he had been an elder for many years. Hyattsville Since 193$, Dies E. Murray Gover, 60, mayor of Hyattsville since 1938 and a member of the City Council for the last 21 years, died late yesterday at the Prince Georges General Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack about an hour earlier at his home, 4412 Oliver Street, Hyattsville. Mr. Gover, who had been in ill health since experiencing a similar attack on November 20, last week announced his candidacy for a fourth term In making his deci sion to run in the May 5 elections, he said he was prompted by “an overwhelming request of my friends.” Mayor Gover also was deputy clerk to the Board of Commission ers and a member of the County Advisory Committee. A native of Friendship, Md., he bad moved to Hyattsville in 1918. Before entering public service, he had been a teller at the old First National.Bank of Hyattsville, and later worked as a meat cutter at several groceries there. ' He was past president of the Prince Georges County Police Boys’ Club, a Mason and a member of the First Methodist Church of Hyattsville. Hardman was fined $10 in Trial Magistrate’s Court on a charge of violating the State law against burning rubbish within 200 feet of woodland. Brook Bodkin, forest supervisor, said Mr. Hardman also started the brush fire before 4 p.m„ in viola tion of the law which allows fires only between 4 p.m. and midnight. Classmates to Join in Rites For Dr. J. J. Quigley's Son Requiem mass for Daniel J. Quig ley, 11-year-old sou of Dr. and Mrs. John J. Quigley, $617 Thirtieth street N.W.. who died Wednesday at his hone, was to be said today in the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament Church. , Members of Daniel’s fifth-grade class at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament Parochial School and the school choir were to participate in the mass, wbttn was to be said by the Rev. A semi-invalid for the last five months, Daniel never was told his illness was Incurable, according to his family. Believing he was suffer ing from an anemic condition, he was looking forward to the time when he could rejoin his class and again participate in school activities. He was a patient at Sibley Memorial Hospital last December, but authorities there let him go home for bis last Christmas. He had been at home most of the time since. Daniel was bom in New York dur ing the time his father was a pro fessor of economics at New York University, but had spent most of his life in Nebraska, where Dr. Quig ley was an official with the Farm Security Administration. The Quig leys came to Washington about four years ago. For the last'year. Dr. Quigley has been on the staff of the War Assets Administration. Surviving, in addition to his par ents, are two brothers, Robert C. Quigley, 18, and William F. Quigley, 16, both of whom , are students at Gonzaga High School. D. Fulton Harris, 78, In Insurance Business Since 1906, Dies D. Pulton Harris, 78, general agent of the New England Mutual Life Insurance Co. here from 1914 to 1931, died yesterday at his home, 1500 Decatur street N.Wf He had been associate general agent of the company since 1931, when he retired from active partici pation in business. A native of Montgomery County, Md., he was a graduate of Western Maryland College, Westminister, and received a law degree from the National University Law School here in 1901, when he was admitted to the District Bar. A Washington resident since 1891, he served as assistant secretary of the YMCA from 1891 to 1896. From 1896 to 1905, except for two years spent in private law practice, he was asso ciated with the Union Savings Bank. He joined the life Insurance company as an agent in 1906. He had been a member of the Ver mont Avenue Christian Church (now the National City Christian Church) since 1891, and had served on ihe Board of Elders of that Institution for many years. He also had been treasurer of the church and chair man of the Building Committee. Mr. Harris was a past master of the Pentalpha Lodge, No. 23, of the Masonic order, and was a former member of the Board of Trade, the Life Underwriters’ Association, the Piney Branch Citizens’ Association and the District Bar Association. John Ince, 60, Dies; Brother of Producer •y th# Associated Press HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 11— John Ince, 60, old-time stage and screen actor and pioneer director, died suddenly yesterday of pneu monia. He was a brother of the late Producer Thomas H. Ince. An outstanding figure in the the atrical world before the advent of talking pictures, Mr. Ince had been a movie extra for the last 10 years. He was on the New York stage from 1888 to 1913, when he made his Hollywood debut. He directed or acted in such films as “Moby Dick,” "Hot Curves,” "Little Caesar” and “Children of Dreams.” Mrs. Herbert Dyke Dies After Fall From Horse Mrs. Alice M. Dyke, 67, wife of Herbert H. Dyke, a patent examiner here from 1903 to 1908, died Wed nesday in Laurel, Miss., as a result of injuries received Sunday when she fell from her horse, according to word received here today. Mrs. Dyke, who had been a fre quent Washington visitor, was a leader in the Givi Scout movement in Laurel. An amateur artist, she had given exhibitions in Laurel and Larchmont, N. Y„ where the Dykes lived from 1908 to 1941. Mr. Dyke, who recently retired as director of research and patent at torney for the Masonite Corp., of Laurel, once was patent attorney for Thomas A. Edison. He formerly headed the law firm of Dyke and Schains, New York City. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Comdr. H. Minde, Daughter Of Arthur Bliss Lane, Dies Mrs. Albert E. Ninde, daughter of Arthur Bliss Lane, who recently re signed as Ambassador to Poland, died yesterday in Coronado, Calif., friends here were Informed today. Mr. Lane was with his daughter at the time of her death. Her hus band, a lieutenant in the Army, is stationed in China. She was living with his parents in California when stricken with pneumonia. Mrs. Ninde was born in Rome, Italy, in 1919. She lived in various parts of the world during her father’s long career in the diplomatic service. An uncle, James W. Kincheloe, 68, Fairfax County commissioner of revenue since 1920, died early today of cerebral hemorrhage at his home in Fairfax. He was stricken last night while addresing the county League of Women Voters in Fairfax. A native of Clifton Station, he was a lifelong resident of the county. Before 1920 he was a farmer and auctioneer and at one time was a district road commis sioner. Mr. Kincheloe was the first reve nue commissioner to serve the entire county.
