Her resignation will become ef fective October 1, but it is expected that a new director will be appoint ed by the executive board before that time. She reported that a total of 1304 visita to the county mental hygiene clinic were made far th« year end ing May 1, "only a fraction of the total mental hygiene needs in a community of this size.' < Montgomery oouiuy, sne as serted, "as a comparatively wealthy and veil - educated community, might be expected to asume front rank leadership in the promotion of mental health—the number one health problem of our times.
