Mr. and Mrs. Harry Arthur Gillis, jr.. are spending a fortnight in New England and will make their home at 1901 R street. Mr. and Mrs. Gilr lis were married August 2 in Foun dry Methodist Church, the Rev Ralph C. John officiating at the double ring ceremony. The bride be fore her marriage was Miss Eleanor Ruth Hutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Hutton of Derry N. H„ who came for the wedding Mr. Gillis' parents also came from their home in Lakewood, Ohio, for the wedding. Miss Joy Gillis, of Lakewood, sis ter of the bridegroom, was maid oi honor and Mrs. Irving C. Hoag, jr. was matron of honor. Mr. Weldor W. Case of Hudson, Ohio, was best man and Mr. Hoag was the usher. Mrs. Gillis attended the Elliott Hospital School of Nursing at Man chester, N. H., and Mr. Gillis was graduated from Ohio Wesleyan Uni versity at Delaware, Ohio, and in doing graduate work at Georgt Washington University. Miss deGrange Wed In Winchester Married yesterday In the Win chester Presbyterian Church were Miss Dorothy deGrange, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clay deGrange of Winchester, and Mr. Thomas Wood Baldridge of Winchester and Warren County, Va. The §ev. Dr. Ronald S. Wilson officiated at the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a heavy ivory satin gown, with a long flow ing triin. A full-length veil of im ported silk tulle was attached to a halo of heirloom lace and she car-j rled a bride's bouquet of white orchids with white rose buds and stephanotis. Her only ornament was a strand of pearls. Mrs. Harry Rogers Kim, jr., was matron of honor for her sister and another sister, Miss Eleanor de Grange, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Natalie Brookenbrough Browne and Miss Nancy Lee Coble of Winchester, Miss Jacquelyn Halsey of New York City and Spray, N. C., and Miss Joan Coenen of the Netherlands and New York City.
