Curran-Breslin Ceremony Is Held Miss Margaret Ann Breslin of Washington and Coaldale, Pa., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Breslin of Coaldale. became the bride yesterday of Mr. Marrian D. Mrs. Charles J. Sweeney of Coaldale, who was matron of honor, wore a Kelly green moire taffeta gown with a matching wide-brimmed crownless hat. Mr. J. Carroll Curran served as best man for his brother and Mr. Robert Finnell of this city and Mr. Harry Eisenbeiss of Norfolk were the ushers. Following a honeymoon through New England the couple will live in Bethesda. Marian Hobbs Wed To A. F, Bray The Woodside Methodist Church was the scene of the wedding last i evening of Miss Marian Stonehamj Hobbs, daughter of Dr. and Mrs.1 Elmer Eugene Hobbs of Silver j Spring, and Mr. Albert Franklin j Bray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry John Bray of Hazleton, Pa. The Rev. William Firth officiated at the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Philip C. Edwards, and a re-1 ception followed in the banquet hall of the church. Mr. Ray Klingerman of Hazleton served as best man for the bride groom and Mr. John Mumaw of Hazleton and Mr. Alvin Hobbs of Silver Spring seated the wedding guests. Alexandria The trek homeward from vacations is well under way now and among those just back is Mrs. Clyde Box, who spent the summer in San Diego, Calif., with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Hotchkiss. On her arrival here she was greeted by her cousins. Dr. and Mrs. Richard Kiene of Philadelphia, who came especially to welcome her home. Dr. and Mrs. Kiene had been spending the sum mer at Spray Beach, N. J. Lt. Comdr. and Mrs. Robert Cro zier Barnes also are back after spending the summer at Lake of the Woods in Canada. They were hosi.3 Friday evening at a farewell party for Lt. Comdr. Lee Goolby, wkjo will leave soon for his new post. More than a dozen other guests attended the party, which was a supper. Lt. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Arnold Summer are back after spending the summer at Oak Orchard on Lake Ontario. Comdr. and Mrs. Donald J. Ram sey and their children. Elizabeth, Anne and Ellison, have returned from Newport, R. I., where they spent the summer. Capt. and Mrs. Richard MacLeod j Stratton have had as their guests for the past two weeks Mrs. Strat ton's mother, Mrs. N. L. Mahan, of Charlottesville, who has been mak ing the acquaintance of her new grandson, Richard MacLeod Strat ton, jr. Miss Katharine Simler of Johns town, Pa., is the guests of her brother-in-law and sister, Maj. and Mrs. George B. Simler. There was a lovely party Monday evening in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Androus in Belle Haven when they entertained in celebra tion of the birthday anniversary of their sub-debutante daughter, Miss Jean Ellen Androus. The party was given in the newly decorated recreation room which was designed by Mr. and Mrs. An drous and furnished in keening v/ith the murals of Greek mountain scenes.
