Returns to City Mr*. J. M. Bradley ha* returned from a ahort trip to New York with Lt. Col. Bradley to bid him bon voyage. He Bailed a ivm day* ago for Europe and later will be joined at his post In Berlin by Mrs. Brad ley and their children. Comdr. and Mrs. O. L. Ottlnger have given up their home here and moved to Falls Church. Egypt expects to harvest 1.039,500 tons of rice, a record high this year. Miss Arnold Bride Of H. F. Koch The marriage of Miss Luella Janf Arnold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Clifford K. Arnold, to Mr. Howard Frederic Koch, son of Mr. and Mrs Fred A. Koch of New Haven, Mo. took place yesterday in the Waugh Methodist Church. The Rev. Hirl A Kester officiated at the ceremonj which was followed by a reception ir the home of the bride's parents. Escorted to the alter by her father the bride wore ivory satin and a tiars of seed pearls which held her veil MRS. KOCH. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Cornell Pierce, sister of the bridegroom, who was matron of honor, wore pastel-green satin and carried yellow roses; Miss Isabel Pidler, who was maid of honor, wore rose-color and carried deep red roses, and the other attendants, Mrs. John C. New and Miss Peggy Shipp, who wore gold-color and pastel - green, respectively, carried talisman roses and yellow roses. All wore feather headdresses matching their gowns. Mr. John C. New served as best man for the bridegroom and usher ing duties were performed by Mr. James Bishop *of Pittsburgh, Mr. John French and Mr. William Kline. Fortwenglers Back From Wedding Trip Mr. and Mrs. Jules Knight Fort wengler have returned from their wedding trip and are making their home at Eleventh and Otis streets where they have taken an apart ment. Mr. and Mrs. Fortwengler were married recently, the wed ding taking place in the Churph of the Holy Comforter, where fhe Rev. Edwin Luckett officiated and State Societies The Massachusetts Society of Washington will open its season Thursday evening at Pierce Hall with a Boston baked bean supper and dance. Further information about the supper and dance may be obtained from Mrs. Anne McDermott, North 7479, with whpm reservations also may be made. The bowling league sponsored by the society opened its season on the 8th. New Hampshire The University of New Hampshire Alumni Club and the New Hamp shire State Society will give an out ing and picnic Saturday at Green belt Lake, Greenbelt, Md. Iowa A dance in the west ballroom of the Shoreham will be given Satur day evening at 9:30 o'clock by the Iowa State Society as its first social event ol the season. Miss Gertrude M.
