Francis Regis Miller, S. J.. 48, head of the philosophy de partment of the graduate schdcl at Georgetown University, died early today in Georgetown Hospital. He had been ill more than a month, i Father Miller was bom in Luxem bourg and attended school there. Later he went to Valkenbury Semi nary in Holland and received his doctor of philosophy degree from Gregorian University in Rome. He taught philosophy in Jesuit universities in Tokyo, Bogota, Co lombia for four years. He taught at Mount St. Michaels In Spokane, Wash., before he came to George town as a professor in 1944. Waller Dies On Atlantic City Visit; Wife of D. C. Banker Mrs. Wilmer Joyce Waller, wife of the president of the Hamilton Na tional Bank here, died unexpectedly early today at the Atlantic City Hospital, after a throat hemorrhage. Mrs. Waller left Washington with her husband Thursday morning to drive to the ocean resort, where Mr. Waller was to attend the annual convention of the American Bank ers' Association. She was stricken while attending a reception Friday evening at the Claridge Hotel. She was taken to the hospital Saturday and before she died her condition was not be lieved serious.
