ADams 9211-9212 Five More Students Register In Star Calendar Art Contest Five more young students have entered The Evening Star Student Calendar Art Contest which is oper to all junior and senior high school students in the Washington metro politan area. They will compete for the six $10C United States Savings Bonds which will be awarded those whose winnins efforts will be published in Th< Star's 1949 calendar. Those whose registration was re ceived yesterday are Thomas H Lloyd, jr., Washington-Lee High School; Janet C. Kuhn and Jamei H. Heffner, Montgomery-Blair High School; Alan Klawans, East Hyatts ville, and Marjorie Larson, Bethesda Interest in the contest is increas ingly rapidly with the beginning o: the new school term. The deadlini for submitting pictures is April I At the exhibition of the art sub mitted, which will be held in the lobby of the Commerce Department Building for two weeks starting May 1, the public will be given an op portunity to express a choice. The picture receiving the longest vote will be declared winner of the first of the prizes. The other five win ders will be selected by a committee of judges headed by Cliflord K.
