W W W W W W W W W W W W W Trade Board to Elect 12 Directors Friday At Its Annual Meeting The Washington Board of Trade will hear an address by Dr. Harold Stonier, executive manager of the American Bankers Association, and elect 12 directors at its annual i meeting at 8 p.m. Friday in the I Mayflower Hotel, John A. Reilly,! president, announced yesterday. The meeting, last in a series of; six general membership sessions during the organization’s 59th ad ministrative year ending Friday, will include musical interludes by the Metropolitan Police Boys Club Band. \ Coinciding with the meeting will be a display of products manufac ' tured in the Washington Metropoli tan Area by Board of Trade mem bers. The display, which will be i in the Chinese Room of the May ! flower, is being arranged by the board’# Industrial and Wholesale ! Interests Committee, of which i Thomas Somerville, 3d, is chairman. ! Martin T. Wiegand is subcommittee j chairman. Discusses Anti-Inflation Drive. Dr. Stonier, an authority on banking and investment, will dis cuss the campaign against inflation ! now being conducted on a nation wide scope through the banking system. Thornton W. Owen, secretary of j the Board of Trade, has announced 17 men have been nominated for j the 12 vacancies on the Board of Directors. The 12 receiving the most votes will be elected for three jyear terms. Candidates are: Kenneth H. Ber keley, vice president and general manager of Radio Station WMAL;j J. H.
