Mrs. McCulloch and her hus band, Charles Nelson McCulloch, former chief of reclamation for the Interior Department, had been spending the winter In Florida. Their home here is at 1028 Con necticut avenue N.W. Mrs. McCulloch was born in the suburbs of Richmond but had lived in Washington since she was a small child. Her father, the late Frank lin Maddox, was customs officer in Richmond. She was a member of Epiphany Church and was active in the Daughters of the King. Besides her husband, she is sur- j vived by two sisters, Mrs. Lillian M. Stout and Mrs. Zenobia A. Evans, both of Washington. Her brother, the late Dr. William Arthur Maddox, was a president of Rockford College, Illinois, until his death.
