The widow of the former Pres ident - arrived at National Airport early this, afternoon an hour late but still in time to keep a luncheon engagement with President Tru man. She said she had been in vited to the White House by the President for a discussion of prob lems likely to come up at the Paris meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Mrs. Roose velt will attend that session as an American delegate. She chuckled when asked if the White House conference would take up political subjects. “No,” she said, "there will be no politics.” Mrs. Roosevelt also refused to discuss the presidential election campaign. She indicated that this was in line with the stand she took at the time of the Democratic Na-, tional Convention when she took no active part because she felt that her duties as a tJnited Nations dele gate should not permit political campaigning. Her visit to the White House was the first since April 28. She was met at the airport by Harry Chamley, a White House policeman.
