Chatelain Will Direct Plans for Dedication Of Boys' Club No. 4 Leon Chatelain, Jr., president of the. Board of Trade, yesterday was named chairman of %the dedication ceremonies for the new Metropoli tan Police Boys’ Club, No. 4, at 816 Sixth street S.W., at 3 p.m. Sunday. The appoint ment of Mr. Chatel a i n was announced by Robert C. Sim mons, president of the B o y s’ Club Board of Directors, and Supt. of Police Robert J. Bar rett. Mr. Chatelain Mr. Chatelmln. •aid a parade will start at 2:45 pm. at Sixth street and Constitution avenue, proceeding to the clubhouse. Maj. Barrett will lead the parade. He will be followed by youngsters from the various Police Boys’ Clubs, police officers, the Board of Direc tors, the Metropolitan Police Band an the Boys’ Club Band. Among those expected to attend the ceremonies after the parade are the Commissioners, a number of Supreme Court and District Court judges, Congressmen and families of the children. Mr. Simmons will serve as master of ceremonies, Mr. Chatelain said. A special platform has been built in front of the clubhouse. It will be ■ecorated in red, white and blue, as ,vill the clubhouse interior. Mrs. Joseph L. Arnold, president 1 if the club auxiliary, will head a ! arge delegation of women and Mrs. |3arrett, wife of |he superintendent, will be chairman of a tea after the dedication.' • | | A policeman and a club member will be on hand to explain the ac ! uvities to be carried on in each clubhouse room. Prince Georges Man Found Dead in Gas-Filled Car John Francis Jackson, sr., 74, of 6401 Sixty-first place, Riverdale Heights, Md., was found dead in I his car* yesterday on the road be tween Merrifield and Annandale ini Fairfax County. A hose led from the exhaust pipe into the car. The motor was run ning, police said, and a note was found in the car. Police said Mr Jackson was pronounced dead by a private physician who said he died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Mr. Jackson’s car was parked about 500 yards from the driveway of the home of one of his sons, po lice said,- but they did not have the name of the son. Mr. Jackson lived at the Riverdale Heights address with his wife and son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Neil McKay. He was a retired railroad engineer. Russia Gets Rare Bison MOSCOW (IP). — The Teeeiftly established Moscow reservation fox rare bison is receiving two more— from Poland. Evening Moscow said these extremely rare animals—of which there are only 75 in the world —have been secured in exchange for five freight carloads of beaver, deer, camels and white bear.
