A copy of the fabulous counterpane used in the
Lee Mansion . . . beauty that con be yours
"Minuet" has history all its own. Morgan-Jones designers
went searching for a classic example of Early American hand
loomed bedspreads. In Mecklenburg County, North Carolina,
they discovered a handmade masterpiece . . . "1812" wovSn
into its corner.

early 19th Century chorm appears at Arlington, in the Betsy
Ross House, on Lincoln's deathbed and at the John Marshall
House in Richmond.
