The broadcasts will be at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, 5- p.m. Sunday and 8:30 pjn. May 9. From these semi-finalists, the judges will select the finalists who will be heard at Constitution Hall May 14. Mary Immaculate Novena Is Scheduled A novena in honor of Mary Immaculate .will be inaugurated Friday in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at Catholic University, the'Rev. Pat rick J-. O’Connor, acting director of the shrine, announced today. Father O’Connor said it is hoped the novena, designed to appeal to visitors and to out-of-town men and women going to school or! working here, will become an an-j nual event. Democrats Put Out Health Plan Booklet By th« Associated Press The Democratic National Com mittee has started a new drive to rally support for the admin istration’s health insurance- pro gram which has stirred heated debate—but no action—in Con gress for two years. Chairman William Boyle, jr„ announced that the committee is distributing a 32-page booklet to party leaders throughout the country which he said gives a “factual presentation” of the pro gram. Although hearings have been held on the administration bill to set up the Federal health plan, neither the Senate nor House has acted on it. Prospects for its consideration at this session are slim.
