Plans Reported Completed For Jewish Youth Week Plans for the fourth annual Jewish Youth Week observance have been completed, M. David Weiss. National Jewish Youth Con ference chairman, announced to day. Jewish Youth Week, to be held fi'om March 23 to 30,. emphasizes the role, achievements and needs of Jewish youth in the community and the Nation. The conference, which repre sents more than 300 local, re gional and national Jewish youth organizations, this year will spon sor forums, institutes, sport con tests, cultural festivals and other social, recreational and religious events. Karl McCormick of No. 7 police precinct appealed to the Burleith Citizens' Association last night for more volunteers to the Police Reserve Corps for that area. Pvt. James F. Smith, also of No. 7, explained the precinct's need for eight more recruits to com plete a 55-man group, the first to begin the training program. The meeting also included a presentation of color slides by Walter H. Gannaway of Bethesda, a member of the Potomac Rose Society. Mr. Gannaway accom panied his exhibition of flower views with comments on flower planting, garden diseases and the proper use of fertilizers. The meeting, held in Gordon Junior High School, Thirty-fifth and T streets N.W., was conducted by J. A. McDonnell, president. Juvenile Court Complaints Show Decline for Month Juvenile Court Judge Edith Cockrill yesterday reported com plaints against 192 children were filed with the court during Febru ary. This figure represented a drop from the January high of 203 and an increase by 30 over the Decem ber low of 162, according to date shown in the first four monthly j reports of the court. In previous years reports were yearly, if at all. For the first month since the new system of reporting began. February showed the greatest number of juvenile offenders in the 16-18 age bracket, with 105 complaints listed against 92 chil dren. Heretofore, most offenses were committed by those between the ages 13 and 16.
