Property Owners Asked To Get Rid of Weeds Property-owners here have been asked by William H. Cary, jr., to rid the community of weeds. An act of Congress requires this, he pointed out, but the District does not have enough inspectors to check every place in the Dis trict. “From time to time, at this sea son of the year, we receive many complaints from residents to do j something about enforcing the I law that ragweed and other weeds be removed,” Mr. Cary said. I “Especially is this true now that we are approaching the ragweed season. Though it usually comes or reaches its height about Au gust 15, the hot, dry weather of the past month may advance the season.” j&on TRANSFER A STORAGE CO. !
