The group includes Gen. Ste phen Sarahs and retired Gen. Michael Hadjimichalis, who fought on the Communist side during the civil war. Seven of them were sworn in as members of Parliament a month ago amid cries of “shame” from the oppo sition benches. The court ruled that under the Greek constitution the 10 were not entitled to vote and therefore were not entitled to sit as mem bers. Seven of them were in con centration camps and three in jail when the election took place September 9. Their ouster will not mean that the Democratic Front Party will be without representation. Then seats will be automatically award ed to candidates on the same ticket who received the next high est number of votes In the elec tion. j HEDUIhiiul T+s Me Betties/ JUICY SLICED STRAWBERRIES-Luscious strawberries, sliced for your convenience, with all their springtime flavor frozen in. Mr. Caffery called on the offi cial for the third time in six days. Reliable informants said all the talks concerned the Egyptian government's proposal to recall its Ambassador to London, Abdel Fattah Amr Pasha. The informants reported Egpyt still is considering the recall and said they expected no announce ment of a decision today. The government threatened to break off with Britain after British army engineers destroyed an Egyptian village last week nd to make way for a military road near Suez City. Mr. Caffery was reliably re ported to have advised strongly against a formal rupture withi Britain, whose troops Egypt is trying to force out of the Suez Canal zone and the Sudan. Egypt could recall her Ambassa dor indefinitely for the diplomatic reason of "routine consultations.” or could withdraw him perma | nently. The first alternative would not require cabinet approval, although it could be a step to full rupture Cairo newspapers have said the cabinet decided to recall the Am bassador but an official spokes man said the matter still is under consideration.
