Senate Action Due
On AEC Building
The Senate planned to act
today on legislation to authorize
the Atomic Energy Commission
to construct a new $lO-million
headquarters building in the
Washington area.
The bill, sponsored by Senator
Anderson, chairman of the joint
Congressional Committee on
Atomic Energy, is baeked by that
committee, the AEC and the
Budget Bureau.
Cycle Club Adds
Touring Section
The Washington Cycle Club
announced it is beginning its
second year of activity with the
formation of a touring section.
Heretofore, the club has con
centrated on bicycle racing and
cross-country competition. The
new touring section will be con
ducted for cyclists unable to race
but who want to tour nearby
States.
