The Aquarium
Almost everyone warts to have some kind of a pet. It's
fun to take care ol smell living creatures and to watch them
eat and sleep and play.
If you plan to have a pet. first talk it over with your parents.

home. If you live in the country, or in a small town or suburb
where you have a back yard you have a wide range to choose from.
But even living In o city apartment you can have pets. One
of the best choices is an aquarium. It’s neat and compact and
decorative in a room. And you will have pleasure watching the
fish swimming about

tion the dealer can give you He will also have the right packaged
food for your fish
Perhaps the best fish to start with are the common variety
of goldfish. They re hardy, and If they live the first three months
you have them they’re likely to live five years with good care.
Here are three little fish for you to color. Mount them on
stiff construction papet m some bright color and then color them
with crayons. Put strings through the holes on the top of their
backs and Me the string to a stick. Lay the stick across the top
of an empty goldfish bowl or deep glass dish and let the fish
hang down mslde. See the small drawing above.
