Printed Rayon Sheers Street floor, Washington and Arlington Seven Named j To Civic Center Seven members of the newly authorised District Civic Audi* torlum Commission, including five members of the House, have been appointed by House Speak er Rayburn. This Is one third of the com mission membership. Seven others are to be named by Presi dent Eisenhower, »and another seven by the Vice President. Those appointed by the House Speaker are Democratic Repre sentative Morrison of Louisiana, Thompson of New Jersey and Klein of New York; Republican Representatives Kearns of Penn sylvania and Broyhill of Virginia, and Robert A. Dowling, chair man of the Board of the Ameri can National Theater Academy, and Barnee Breeskin, Shoreham Hotel orchestra leader. Legislation was enacted dur ing this session of Congress au thorising appointment of the commission to plan the audi torium. with an inauguration hall and cultural center and re port back to Congress.
