Iran Outlaw Decree
The Baha’is of the Washing
ton Area today made public a
resolution protesting against the
Iranian Government’s recent de
cree, outlawing the Baha'i faith
in Iran.
The statement was indorsed
by the Baha’is of Washington.
Prince Georges County and
Montgomery County, Maryland,
and Alexandria and Arlington,
Virginia.
The statement called upon the
Shah and the Iranian Govern
ment to reconsider the decision
to outlaw the Baha’i faith. The
local groups also asked United
States Government to intercede.
