TiUS week's pin-up, Patricia Harkins, says home was
never like this.
A life-long resident of Brockton, Mass., Patricia, 25.
came here in June, Just in time for our summer heat, to
take a secretarial job in the State Department.
“I don’t like the weather at all," she says, “it was so nice
and cool in Brockton. And the beaches are so far away."
Other than this common complaint, Patricia likes
Washington fine. She lives with two other girls in a
basement apartment in a private home at 5107 Connecti
cut avenue.
She likes to sew—makes most of her own clothes—and
cook.
“I’m real domesticated,” she remarks. “I don't even
mind housework "
Patricia plays golf (twice a week when she lived in
