Builders' Report Contractors' Group Elects Kettler - Clarence Kettler, youthful President of Kettler Brothers, Inc.. Bortz as con troller of the firm. Mr. Bortz, who will be in Charge of the firm's account ing and records division, for merly held the same post with Lovemans, Inc., Chat tanooga, Tenn. ' He is a member of the American Institute of Certi fied Public Accountants, the National Association of Ac countants and the Systems and Procedures Association of America. Residential Contracts Up in November Residential building con tracts awarded during No vember for work in the Washington area totaled |23,- 651.000, a gain of 43 per cent Over the corresponding month of 1959, E. H. Keefe of the F- W. Dodge Corp, reported this week. J Non-residential contracts In November were 810,664,000, down 46 per cent from the year-carlier figure. During the first 11 months of 1960, residential contracts totaled 8258,139,000, up 3 per cent from the comparable period of 1959, while non-res- Idential contracts, at 8218,- 029,000 for the January-No vember period, were down 24 per cent from the correspond ing figure for 1959.
