You need a warm up period before strenuous physical activity, and you should have a gradual slow down at the end of a session of exercise. This protects your heart. Push forward with your right leg making the leg as long as possible. Relax. Push again. Relax. Continue. Now push with the left leg for a while. Twist I and turn and yawn. Feel your j muscles pull. Hold your hands up in front of you and shake them. Be sure that your wrists are loose. Bend Knees Now bend your right knee up close to your abdomen. Slowly return the right leg to the bed. Do the same thing with your left leg. Continue, alternating right and left in a very lazy manner. Now lift your head from the bed and try to touch your chin to your chest. Lower head to the bed. Continue slowly. These few motions will wake you up and prepare you for more vigorous exercise. Get out of bed and walk around the room fairly brisk ly. After a few rounds of this, bend the knees up high in front of you with each step you take. Gradual End From here on you can go into your regular exercise routine, but be sure to slow down gradually.
