One was that the management of the LaSalle hotel would not serve col ored Single Taxers with food at the contemplated banquet, pre sumably for business reasons, and the other that the Single Taxers canceled the $2 banquet to be held at that, place on civic-moral grounds, and had their dinner at Kimball's Coffee House Mr. Kimball being a broadminded man.
