"You needn't think I'm frost-'
bitten' protested Mullin.
"Be quiet-," admonished Mrs.
Mullin. Then she made him a re
volting mess of a tea and made
him drink two cups, after which
he spat for 15 minutes.
'Feel better?" she asked.
'"I d-d-dunno," .hesitated Mul
lin. Thereupon she forded an
other cup"of the noxioqs tea down
his throat and put two more
quilts upon him.
"Any better now?", she de
manded. "Ye-e-e-s," said Mullin; and his
wife removed four covers.
"Now?" she queried.
"Feeling fine," declared Mullin,
perspiring like a sawmiller.
Mrs. Mullin removed 'the, rest
'of the covers, took away -the hot
appliances and p'roduce'd another
cup of tea. "How now?" she
"I feel like a king," exclaimed
Mullin, "and please go away with
that poisonous tea."
