The Blessing John Asked.
John is a small boy, the young
estvof a minister's family.
As a punishment for some mis
demeanor at the table it was de
cided tha't John must not eat with
the family at the next meal.
So his dhmer was placed on a

ingroom. When all wereseated the. min
ister said:
"Now, John, you should ask a
blessing, before you eat."
This was a new duty to John,
but he bowed his head and said
"Our Father in heaven, Thou
preparesta table before me in the
