Indeed, ever since Bryan told
the Relegates that they "would
hear from the corn fields" if they
voted with the Morgan-Ryan-Belmont
crowd, a perfect deluge
of telegrams has poured into Bal
timore. That's what's worrying the
delegates, They.'d like to help out
some of the bosses, but 'if they
did they know they couldn't go
home again.
Statistic fiend has figured out
that average amount of money
which delegates left is 39 cents,
and that's pretty high for some.
Friday was an r"unlucky" day
