Here is a "combination" umbrella tooted as a device sure to
baffle" tfte umprella thief. Perhaps. Perhaps not. Certainly it
would peeve him. After having gone to all the risk and mental an
guish entailed by stealing an umbrella, anyone would, be peeved
to find-the thing locked shut with a combination lock .around its
neck as-mysterious as the time "lock on a bank vault.' But baffled
altogether? One could still use it for a cane:
