had been kind of gitting on the
nerves of the polise dept. evry
onct in a while sumboddy would
come in with a roar about being
m skun, but yet it dident hardly
seem like the place could be a Aim

couple of weeks ago a feller that
WAY OF-'DETECTIN. .
was stopping at one of the swell
taverns dashed into a station
house, and he puts up a rore that'
he was inviggled into this dump
and they got prittynear evrything
he had except the fillings in his
grinders
so then the cops desided they
got to get busy, and they put
young dominick on the job
this house was rite in the swell
resadehse districk, with boobs in
livries openin the door and dashin
down the steps to help callers out
of .their autos, and dominick he
figgered a foxy game to get in
right
he dident go near the house, he
dressed up like a swell gink, and
stopped at a high-price hotell, and
hung around the .lobby, waiting
to be inviggled
sure enough,' pritty soon ah
uther well dressed guy that was
hangin around the lobby got ac
quainted with him, and after they
had bought each uther a few pints
of giggle water, this duck asks
dorninick would he like a chance
to play a little faro on the strickt

dominick he falls like a. ton of
flatirons, and the feller takes him
up to the joint, witch he tells
dominick is a swell private club
its swell all rite, all furnished
up like pearp morgan's pet ball
room, and lots of elagent ladys
and gents playin various kirids of
gamblin games
dominick he joined the merry
throng, lost a few dollers, and in
a few days the gang around the
place was patting him on his flos-
