Marion, Ind. 35 Poles are un
der arrest here as resultof free-for-all
fight that begun at a
christening ceremony.
La Porte, Ind. Robert Simp
son and wife overcome by coal
gas in their home. Will recover.
Bloomington, Ind. Wayne
Abrams, 12, hunting near here,
set fire to his clothes when he dis
charged his shotgun. Seriously
burned. Put fire out by jumping
in creek.
Kalamazoo, Mich. Robbers
pried open safe in office of D.
Graff & Son. Escaped with near
ly $8,000 worth of stock and cash.

blvd.; Alex Matutes,2425 S. Oak
ley blvd. ; Joseph Chiadaj, 2512 S.
Oakley blvd.; Herman Peterson,
530 N. Morgan st. ; Jno. McCall,
167 E. Ohio st, arrested for sell
ing drinks when they were sup
posed to be closed today. Eight
men arrested in McCall's, saloon
for buying drinks.
