Albert C. Jones, who tried to
furnish $30,00 bail for Jack John
son on property which he fsaid
was his own, but which belonged
to his wife, was sentenced to one
year in jail for contempt of court
by Federal Judge Landis.
Jones' attorney, David K.
Tone, hinted that it would be a
violation of Jones' constitutional

without a trial by jury.
