MADERO OVERTHROWN; HELD PRISONER Mexico City, Feb. 19. Madero has been overthrown and is a HM Gen. Huerta. prisoner. Gen. Victoriano Huer ta has been declared provisional president. Fighting in the city has ceased- But Mexico is still far from peace. Huerta will not be accept ed by -rebels in the provinces. Pascual Orozco, strongest of the independent commanders, today declared war on the provisional government. Gen. Inez Salazar is support ing the government established at Palomas by Emilio Vasquez Gomez. He will never accept Huerta. Gustave Madero, brother of the deposed president, was exe cuted by order of HUerta. Marco Hernandez, brother of the minister of the interior in Ma dero's cabinet, was shot and killed on the street when he cheered Madero. Anti-American feeling in' the city has disappeared. When the citizens learned that Ambassador Wilson had arranged the confer ence that resulted in peace a crowd gathered in front of the embassy and cheered the Stars and Stripes. Daily Healthogram.
