able and improve its appearance.
Hair cloth on furniture can be
wiped with a clean, wet cloth. ;
Willow furniture, should be cleaned
with soap and. water. Scrub, it. well
with a clean brush. Use fuller's
earth to rubout-greasespots.
One of the best furniture polishes
is one-third turpentine, 'one-third
Unseed oil and one-ttiird vinegar.
Lemon juice or javelle water will
clean marble .
Bathtubs and wash bowls can be
cleaned with kerosene oil.
If china pr porcelain is discolored,
muriatic acid will tlean it., Then
rinse off with water.
To clean round glass lamp shades
use soda, soap and water and rinse
in tepid water.
Mica in stoves -.may be made as
good as new by cleaning it in vinegar
and salt
