Auto driven by Dr. F. S. Chancel
lor, 3732Pine Grove av., collided with
motorcycle ridden by James Neilsen,
706 Greenleaf av., Evanston. Neilson
bruised and cut on head. Doctor ar
rested. Nicholas Schieloss, 817 W. Adams
St., received broken leg and scalp
wounds when his motorcycle ran into
auto driven by 'Leon Kippnan, 19 N.
Lincoln st., at Warren and Archer
Donald Inglis, 9, 1240 LaSalle av.,
missing from home since Thursday.
Went to Chicago av. playgrounds and
then disappeared. Mother prostrated,
believes he was kidnapped. All hos
Michael Rolski, boarder in house
at 8626 Houston av., has disappeared.
Wladislowa Czuk, 14-year-old daugh
ter of landlady, also missing.

Unidentified man, believed to have
been deck hand, drowned off docks of

met av., and Almon Stevens, a decor-
ator, 2550 S. State st, arrested on
complaint of Mrs. Stevens, who lives
at 3545 Vincennes av. Mrs. Stevens,
who is separated from husband, says

Life savers early today rescued
Henry Mersch and John Franklin,
whose gasoline launch had been bat
tered about in a storm in Lake Mich
igan three miles off shore since sun
Judge Gemmill, Hyde Park police
court, declared "men and women who
lie about bathing beaches clad only in
their bathing suits should be ar
rested." Joseph Marek, 1634 W. 21st st., left
home to go fishing; drank too much;
afraid to go home without fish; asked
Maxwell street police to lock him up.

Burglar who broke into home of

Andrew Johnson fatally shot by

Two friends arrested with him say
he was beaten by policemen after be
ing arrested. Police deny charge.
Arthur Theilheimer, 158 W. North
av., met a girl "19 years old and pret
ty" and walked with her in Lincoln
Park. She left him in half an hour.
Theilheimer is minus his purse,
which contained $58.
