arms outstretched to welcome her.

ity let me share the glorious work

And thus there had come to his
lonely soul the' peace and joy serene
that money cannot buy.

FASHION'S LATEST ANKLET MUFF
How the Anklet -Muff Is Applied.
It Encircles, the Calf Just
Above the Shoe and
Is Very Attractive:

Probably not, for they have just
come out '
The anklet muff is a tinjvtiand of
any "smart" fur, and stra'p&'.tightly
about the ankle, just above the line
of the shoe or slipper top. It may
match the gown, or contrast with, the
color of the silk stocking. It may be
made to fit the curve of a tango slip
per or it may be laced gracefully up
under the skirt
Anyway, it solves a great problem.
Milady of fashion must wear a slit
skirt. It is an unalterable edict of the
fashion dictators. But still,,she .likes
to be warm. On a chilly day when the
gusty wind blows, in under the fash
ionable slit in the new spring gown;
you feel keenly 'the need of some
comfortable wrap to keep you warm.
The anklet muff is the answer. In it
you are a warm one.
