of parcel-post on the'floor of
the United States' Senate.
In view of the efforts of the post
office committee of the United States
Senate to assassinate parcel post, the
editor wired as. follows to Robert M,
LaFollette, the people's fighting sen
ator fromjthe state of Wisconsin:
"Pleasewire us your opinion of
the amendment to the postoffice ap
propriation bill which .would prevent
further expansion of parcel post, by
the posfmaster general. We thnk
this amendment will strangle parcel,
post.
