"WATCH US'" SAYS EUGENIC COUPLE WHO MARRIED TO LEAD PERFECT LIFE Mr. and Mrs. Leo. De Lano, recent ly married. They are a physically per fect pair. Los Angeles. "Just watch -us. We are going to demonstrate what hap piness can be derived from living really healthy lives." Friends of Leo De Lano, 23, and Mrs. De Lano, formerly Miss Betty Wehrle, 19,, are carefully following their marital voyage s6 confidently launched on a eugenic plane here re cently. De Lano set his name high in ath letic circles as champion swimmer and racing mate of Speed King De Palma. Tennis and open-air sports had an ardent devotee in Miss Wehrle. Their marriage is the result of a New Year's resolution in which each vowed that the conjugal mate must be physically and mentally perfect. Their troth quickly followed. "I am proud to have an athletic star for a husband," says she, "and intend to show my appreciation by keeping in the best of health."
