There are other show.s in New York
that are packing their theaters at ev
ery performance, hut none Has such
an auditorium as the Hippodrome" to
pack, and io other gives 'two shows a
day, six days a' week.
For the ordinary "hit" ' gross re
ceipts of $15,000 'to $18,000 a week
are big ;. "Pinafore" is playing to,be
tween $60,000 and $65,000 a Week.
The huge tank of the 'Hippodrome
.holds theshipivhich is 160"feet long:
