I have a letter from a reader or Tne my .book wnicn raises a question,
and suggests the answer, that is of interest to everybody interested in labor
' or religion, or both.
It bears on the frequent complaint of a falling off in the attendance at
some churches, and a frank discussion of the question and answer may help
those interested in getting some light on the subject. If it only makes them
think it will be worth while. Here is the letter;
"I submit a question and an answer. The rank and file of men and
women in the labor movement have an inherent feeling of respect for 'Tie
God of Our Fathers,' but when organized religion, in the form of the various
' churches cease to serve the people and demand that the people serve them,;
